HELP WANTED!

Hi Everyone,
I need help organizing and operating SC NORML. There are a lot of “moving parts” when running a 501c4 non-profit. I often find that I’m trying to wear too many hats, and not doing a very good job of doing much of it. While I do have some great help, I need more.
Some of the key leadership positions I would like to fill are:
Volunteer Coordinator: I really need someone to help organize volunteers to help in various duties, from petition signature collectors, to booth attendants, to membership drive assistants, to donation collectors, and so on.
Event Coordinator: I also really need someone to help us organize events. The event coordinator would be the overseer of any and all SC NORML events. This would include helping to find locations/venues where we could set-up our information booth, to leading the organizing of one major event per year, and possibly a couple of smaller ones. The event coordinator and the volunteer coordinator will often need to collaborate.
Communications/PR/Marketing Coordinator: Would be able to coordinate SC NORML’s newsletters to volunteers, members, donors, sponsors, and prospects, to draft press releases as needed, monitor and update our website, and help organize other email blasts to volunteers, members, and donors.
Regional Chapter Leaders: While SC NORML currently only has one chapter, our goal is to have a few regional chapters around the state. 4 Chapter Leaders are required to establish a regional chapter. SC NORML Chapter Leaders are responsible for hosting the monthly event in their region, participating in the weekly NORML Chapter Leaders conference calls, assisting in the promotion and production of the SC Cannabis Conference & Lobby Day, fundraising and growing membership for SC NORML, monitoring the chapter Facebook page, and must adhere to SC NORML’s professional conduct standards.
Board Member Candidates: It has come to my attention that one of our board members will be leaving South Carolina to do some world traveling starting in early 2023. Board membership is an uncompensated volunteer position. Do you have what it takes to help guide the cannabis law reform, education, and advocacy efforts of South Carolina NORML?
If you are able and willing to volunteer your time and energy please contact me here. https://scnorml.org/pages/contact-us
Best regards,
Scott Weldon
